A problem with float lines is their length, sometimes you dive shallow and sometimes deep, meaning being able to adjust the length of your line can be advantageous. The ‘wettie’ float sleeve allows you to unwind as much rope as needed or wind some back on then clip the line off at the front and pull the sleeve back over the bulk of the rope around the float.
